Did You Know that 9.5 Million Articles Online Have Been Written by AI BOTS?

Ever wonder when you happen to come across an article lately why many are so utterly vapid? Sure, they may be grammatically correct, but there is no feeling behind the words and often really no point to the article at all other than to fill a keyword quota.

Keywords in articles are picked up by web crawlers on search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo. This is a major way in which these engines rank sites by adding new information and fresh links. The problem is that artificial intelligence-based writing isn’t really written to be read by humans. It’s not intended to inform or educate. It’s there as filler. Filler to get the website source clicked on more often.

While this method works, it isn’t user-friendly and it’s wasting space and our time. It should be noted that it’s getting noticed by the search engine engineers. Hundreds of thousands of entries created by various AI software programs have been removed due to lacking documentation. This averages approximately 5,000 deletions a day.

Incredibly even major news outlets like the Washington Post use AI to write articles. They have bot reporters. Just that paper alone has allowed these robot journalists to write 850 news articles just in 2022 alone. (This might explain the quality and accuracy of the news these days…)

Here is the thing —– If you want actual people to read your blogs, articles, or news stories you have to care.
