This came to our attention once again today as a form submission was forwarded to our office by a client. The form came across in a helpful and friendly tone.
*TIP – Never click on links sent through in unsolicited potentially suspicious emails or forms like this one as they are often viruses or malware.
In doing a bit of research – the company is registered in Bulgaria and when you go to their actual company domain, the page is totally blank. (Not building much credibility so far.)
In looking at the report, as this is a site we manage and have for several years, we realize the report is chock full of things that simply are not so and are aimed specifically at creating doubt in the mind of the site owner as to if the current SEO company is doing their job or not.
Examples of things that FAILED inspection and were deemed WRONG by this “site analysis”:
No SSL (TRUTH: the page has the SSL installed and it’s running just fine).
The site is running incredibly slow (TRUTH: The page was tested by Damonaz Design in two different states which loaded at 1.38 seconds and 3.00 seconds, respectively).
We detect no Facebook Pixel on page (TRUTH: It is connected)
Your page ranks low in backlinks (TRUTH: We have focused locally on backlinking, these inquiries run globally. This business does not operate globally. Yes, global backlinks are low.)
No associated Instagram found on page: (TRUTH: The link is right there with the other social links)
There really is not much validity to the report. They are skewed purposefully with the intent to scare and gain business. But with tactics like that, a blank domain, and being overseas? Buyer beware.
